Vamos a la Playa - Part 1

It is a sweltering high of 42 degrees outside today! Really humid but actually kind of nice and nostalgic. Which is why I felt it was appropriate to finally update my blog and post the much delayed post that I had promised!

This post will be picture heavy, you've been warned :)

(7 a.m. at Pearson Airport waiting for flight)

( Almost 10 a.m., boarded plane, waiting for flight to depart, good-bye Toronto!)

(Smoked Turkey and Brie Sandwich for lunch, $6.50 -- wasn't the best, a little dry but there really isn't a great variety of options when you're flying)

(I've reached the beautiful island of St. Maarten! Leaving airport during traffic jam. The vehicle in front of us is a public bus.)

(Round-abouts -- are not that efficient, in my opinion)

(Trying my best to snap photos as we were driving along. The entire week I was there, the weather forecasted thundershowers but it only rained for a few minutes at a time and passed.)
